This evening as dusk envelopes the Rogers Centre in Toronto, the Yankees and the Blue Jays shall clash in the final contest of what has been a most disappointing four game series, in which the hosts have emerged victorious from each of the three games they have thus far concluded.

As the result of this stellar performance the two franchises are locked in a mutually equivalent embrace atop the American League East. When this series commenced the Yankees were in sole possession of first place, though the caliber of play that was reflected in the record they had compiled in the month of June was lackluster and embodied a mediocrity that was bereft of both substantial run production as well as the lack of emotional intensity.

The Blue Jays however, have since the inception of June and in fact prior to that time frame have been amassing victories at a most impressive velocity.

However, in the three most recent athletic conflicts they have performed with an almost satanic ferocity and resolve and have subdued their guests from New York with both outbursts of prodigious scoring and a resilience that has been truly remarkable.

What is responsible for their exemplary athleticism? Could it be that among the many factors that influence the quality of their performance the rabid desire to punish and humiliate an organization that represents a nation whose current president has disparaged both the loyalty and the fidelity to the family of western democracies of the Canadian body politic?

Might there also be the condescending and disparaging suggestion that emanates from Mr. Trump that an ideal relationship between the United States and our neighbors to the north would be their assumption of a subordinate and demeaning status as the 51st state of our republic?

Is it possible that many Canadian citizens are enraged by dictatorial pronouncements that emanate from the Oval office regarding the draconian tariffs that will be imposed on those products that are exported to the United States from those locales and facilities over which the Maple Leaf proudly waves?

Whether the previous considerations and concerns have been operative either subliminally or in explicit consideration I would argue they have substantially influenced the remarkable effectiveness with which the Blue Jays have contended and prevailed.

However, in this final game of this series it is incumbent upon the Yankees to emerge victorious from this contest and by so doing both salvage an eventuality that in some crucial regard resurrects their self-respect and prepares them mentally as they wing their way to New York in the wee small hours of Friday morning to confront a team that is the embodiment of mediocrity and a haven for disloyalty, (yes Mr. Soto I am describing your innate character) so that the results of the three games with the Mets, the two Aarons, Boone and Judge and their superlative colleagues will administer the thrashing this organization so richly deserves as the nation luxuriates in the celebration of its 249th birthday.

The intimidation of our allies and adversaries to extract tariff concessions, the illegitimate and unlawful initiatives to cripple the federal government, the attempts to suppress the historical prerogatives of our nation’s most prestigious universities to exercise the academic freedoms that are innate to their charter, is occurring in this the initial hundred days of the 47th president.

In addition, we are witnessing , the deportation of immigrants that are executed in the illegal absence of due process, the termination of the most skilled and sophisticated government officials within our cluster of national security agencies, and the enthusiastic support for both the architect of the invasion of Ukraine as well as the continuing devastation of those Palestinians who reside in Gaza, also constitute the principal contents of the bizarre and horrific political realities that comprise the Trump hegemony.

However, as disconcerting and profoundly destructive which the impact these actions and activities have inflicted on our national sanity and the structural integrity of our democratic polity, they cumulatively do not expose what resides at the epicenter of the single most coveted aspiration of this president, i.e. to remain in perpetuity in the oval office, long after his current term expires in a posture of ostensibly permissible occupancy, that will be derived from a series of disastrous calamities that have been inflicted on our nation by the current occupant of this office or by our adversaries.

At the core of his pathology where his massive insecurities reside in cohabitation with his grievances and paranoia, this expansive malignancy fashions and formulates strategies to exact retribution, and ceaselessly plots to devise unique methods and tactics that are designed to torment his enemies and incapacitate all institutional facets of those cultural forces that oppose his authoritarian impulses and his anti-democratic proclivities.

Democrats, the “deep state” , NATO partners who devote insufficient financial resources to their defense, the policies of public bureaucracies and private sector components who in the recent past attempted to remediate the penalties and privations which racial prejudice and cultural impediments that have impoverished many among our populace, by deploying initiatives that were “woke” and expressly intended to enlarge the quotient of those among our fellow employees who were historically excluded, compose his compendium of current targets.

However, it is those exertions that fall beyond the umbrella of DEI, and on all others who resist any and all aspects of the agenda of unlimited executive authority which he unrelentingly seeks to impose, such as federal judges or senior federal agency personnel who do not favorably respond to the patently unlawful requests of DOGE operatives to obtain access to the personal data of our citizens, that provokes his most ferocious disdain.

Beyond the content of the previously cited “enemies list” are law firms who represent those who have prosecuted the president for various transgressions be they civil or criminal in nature, and those who have served as senior officials in his initial term as the nation’s chief executive, who have been guilty of nothing other than the splendid discharge of their assigned responsibilities or exercising their first amendment rights to convey to the public their critical and negative assessments of his performance when they were situated in intimate proximity to the White House.

As this administration’s tenure inexorably lengthens the havoc and chaos and profound damage for which it is responsible, as the result of this multi-faceted agenda of spite and malice, revenge and retribution, and policies of political dementia and derangement, our populace in increasing postures of resentment and defiance have begun to stir and mobilize to thwart and resist the panoply of overtures which ceaselessly emanate from the Oval office.

As of this moment in the month of April in excess of 160 law suits have been submitted to the federal judiciary that seek to reverse these baleful initiatives and remediate the harm they have precipitated to such disparate facets of our culture as the livelihoods of public employees, and the dismemberment of our government’s capacity to engage in crucial scientific research.

So too are they responsible for the indiscriminate release of the personal data of our citizenry to those within the DOGE orbit, the abrupt termination of senior military and national security officials for insufficient loyalty to the president, and for other equally spurious and absurd allegations of incompetence, or their membership in gender or racial categories which Trump’s acolytes find wanting or objectionable.

When the pending legislation within the halls of Congress is ratified by the exceedingly slender majority within the House of Representatives, and by a more substantial number of Republican Senators, our citizens shall discover very shortly thereafter what the approximately one trillion dollars diminishment shall translate into with regard to Draconian reductions in those funds that will be appropriated for Medicare and Medicaid, Social Security, the Food Stamp program, Veterans benefits, and other central components of the irreplaceable monetary threads of which our national safety net is composed.

These financial resources shall be repurposed to further decrease the obligations of the oligarchs among us when they submit their annual income tax filings, which currently reflect the obscenely meager sums they are required to provide to the IRS.

In response to this disastrous catalog of initiatives in so many realms of political activity he has implemented since the inception of his hegemony, millions of citizen in every state of our republic and within virtually every major metropolitan area as well as in numerous European capitals as well, gathered in ferocious protest and in a posture of uncompromising repudiation of this agenda of unlawful ” government by executive order.”

The central message they conveyed to Mr. Trump is that the campaign to dismantle the rule of law and impose an authoritarian state in our democratic polity will be rejected and extinguished by we the people by utilizing every tool and procedure to which we have access and can resort to, in defense of the maintenance of our republic.

It is this collective behavior of our populace, united in postures of continuing protest and unceasing waves of unbridled public demonstrations of opposition, that beyond all other activities will be most effective in impeding and ultimately neutralizing the autocratic and authoritarian policy agendas that Donald Trump seeks to actualize.

In concert with the federal judiciary, the refusal of state and local governments to join in partnerships of oppression with the president’s malevolent and malicious initiatives to invalidate the constitutional provisions and rule of law, as well as courageous and enlightened members of our private sector and non-profit community and individuals from other segments of our national culture, that shall denude this pernicious Trumpian ideology of its efficacy and ensure that his exertions culminate in ignominious failure.

However, as we engage in these efforts to mobilize the totality of our societies resources to ensure the defeat of his political aspirations, you may be certain that his response to our incremental and evolving victories in the public arena will be to intensify his attempts to emerge triumphant in this epoch struggle.

As the magnitude, breadth, and intensity, of public demonstrations throughout this republic increases exponentially, Mr. Trump will instigate episodes of civil unrest, provoke instances of violent clashes between those whose purpose is to peacefully articulate their grievances with his policy initiatives, and those who embrace the prejudicial and noxious ideologies of such groups as the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers.

The White House will condemn , the spectrum of progressive entities as the culprits that have provoked these brutal interactions, and ultimately they shall attempt to suppress entirely the right of our citizens to petition the government for a redress of our grievances, smothering in its entirety the constitutional rights the First Amendment has historically guaranteed.

Should the courts reject the validity of these actions and demand the restoration of the rule of law, Trump may very well attempt on a selective or national basis to federalize the National Guard to respond to the “national emergency” these expressions of lawful dissent and denunciation have expressed.

As the months of this initial year of his second term unfolds and beyond the public’s ire additional harbingers of the looming electoral catastrophe which awaits him in the midterm elections as reflected in ever more ominous polling results that will return control of the House of Representatives to the Democrats, and may augur the additional electoral indignity of the relegation of the Republicans in the senate to a minority status, will provoke the president to act to ensure that these cataclysmic probabilities will never become empirical eventualities.

Thus, will it be in these menacing circumstances that this administration will declare Martial Law to quell these disturbances and extinguish the exertions of those citizens who are ferociously engaged in protecting the viability of our democratic polity.

When Martial Law is declared its invocation shall grievously abridge the civil liberties that the Constitution customarily affords us. and among the principal casualties of its deployment will be the cancelation of the 2026 midterm elections

The preceding scenario is not the exclusive pathway to the extinction of our form of representative government. An alternative route to that tragic realization may result from a devastating terrorist attack that reprises the mayhem and magnitude of 9/11. Our obliviousness to this catastrophic event will be attributable to the fallible systems of detection which the eviction of senior professional within our national security community this administration has precipitated.

An alternative pathway to this catastrophe would be the result of this president’s blatant and intentional disregard of intelligence reports to permit the infliction of this mammoth calamity and associated loss of life as the rationale to invoke martial law, a replication of the alleged actions of the Israeli Prime Minister in dismissing the information that Mossad had unearthed regarding the lethal and heinous intentions of Hamas in the autumn of 2023.

Irrespective of the modality that Donald Trump utilizes the result will be the abrogation of a process and protocol of representative democracy that has endured for almost 250 years, that may be irreparable and will usher in an era of chaos , horrific civil strife, economic instability and enormous deprivation, and ultimately in a posture of anarchic cultural incoherence and dissipation a post-American global order.

Thus would we enter an unprecedent geopolitical reality in which the principal political entity that has sustained 80 years of relative tranquility and ascending world prosperity will abdicate its role as primus inter pares among the community of nations and entrust the future of our planet to the leadership of the People’s Republic of China.

To those who are reviewing this document and believe that this prospective possibility transcends any conceivable scenario that may loom in our future, it is my fervent hope that your skepticism is valid and that the previously enunciated formulation forever remains materially unrealized.

However, it is imperative that we prepare for the possibility that it may eventuate prior to the moment we engage in the midterm elections of 2026. However improbable as this prognostication may appear, to disregard its potential to transpire is to invite a disaster of mammoth proportions to befall us

What is required in this fraught moment of extreme vulnerability that is attributable to unceasing introduction by Donald Trump of the contents of Project 2025 via Executive fiat is nothing less than the dismemberment of. a democratic culture that has endured with all its imperfections and fallings since its establishment almost two and a half centuries ago.

Now is the moment for all among us who are irrevocably commitment to the maintenance of our democratic polity to permanently commingle the entirety of our total resources, i.e. strategic acumen, tactical ingenuity, cognitive fertility, monetary reservoirs, judicial determinations, media capabilities, public demonstrations, personal pronouncements on social media, and all other capacities whatever their content or character, in a posture of unremitting defiance, to condemn and vilify those overtures and initiatives that emanate from this administration that in some fundamental regard diminish our freedoms and alter the intrinsic qualitative nature of our civilization, that will introduce in an American context, the tragic realities of the systems of government that are extant in the totalitarian regimes that are exist. in Russia, China, and Iran

To defeat and defy the authoritarian future this president so desperately wishes to accomplish beneath his hegemonic purview both during this his second term and the perpetuation of his administration beyond 2028, will require at the very least the magnitude of those forces which we summoned as a society during the Vietnam era during the presidency of Richard Nixon., to compel him to bring that conflict to a conclusion.

However, what is currently at risk is the very existence of the most ancient and revered democracy on this planet and if necessary we must resort to the imposition of unrelenting pressures on our congressional representatives, engage in sit-ins, demonstrations, protests, boycotts, and ultimately if they are not effective to protect our cherished democratic traditions and processes, nation-wide general strikes during which we the populace of this republic cease any and all activity and by so doing paralyze the functioning of this culture until this administration’s authoritarian agendas and activities are suspended and invalidated, and our constitutional liberties are fully reinvigorated , and we return to the unabridged expression of a polity that functions beneath the rule of law, in perpetuity.

The preceding agenda shall we implement should Donald Trump invoke in the not too distant future the Insurrection Act, and subsequent to that as our populace arises in an unprecedented paroxysm of universal condemnation and the demand that the 47th president of the United States must resign his position, announces the imposition of Martial Law on a wholly illegitimate basis, and we must then in concert with the federal judiciary create a climate of resistance and opposition to this most heinous abridgement of our liberties that our republic has sustained since the its founding as the result this declaration.

In the final analysis it shall require the entirety of our citizenry to expend all that we are capable of in the defense of our democratic polity to ensure its maintenance and to purge once and for all the Trumpian malignancy that seeks our destruction, from our culture and our politics.

Let us prepare now to wage this existential struggle that tragically awaits us in the imminent future of our nation.

I devoted much of the week immediately subsequent to our national plebiscite to a gnashing of teeth, the rending of my garments and hurling furious and enraged obscenities and imprecations in response to the electoral results our citizens have orchestrated.

However, now that I have purged my bile and expended my rage and grief about this most tragic reality, it is now time to consider in a posture of calm and rational contemplation what must those of us who are irrevocably committed to the preservation of our constitutional order and all that flows from that centerpiece of the American experience and its retention, must undertake at this moment to ensure that at the conclusion of the Trump hegemony our nation shall remain intact in the form and function which was reflected at the commencement of this administration.

It is my considered judgement that three equally critical initiatives must be immediately invoked. The initial endeavor is one that falls within the purview of our currently serving Commander-in-Chief. The second project is one that will require significant resources both human and financial and must remain vigorously operational throughout the four years during which Mr. Trump occupies the West Wing.

The third element of this trinity of imperatives is concerned with the reestablishment of cordial and mutually respectful relations with many of our fellow citizens who have rejected our offerings and the options we have presented for their electoral support, and as a result have become convinced that the quality of their lives and their financial prospects will be better served by the menu of policy recommendations which has been articulated in the current Republican platform.

President Biden it is to you sir that I respectfully address the following requests that happily you may should you choose to, unilaterally implement, via Executive orders. It is my fervent hope that you will immediately order the release to the Ukranian government of the approximately 300 billion dollars of Russian assets that are currently impounded.

These funds shall provide irrespective of the actions which your successor may undertake, i.e. the reduction or elimination of any further financial or military assistance to this sovereignty, with the continued capability to wage an effective military campaign in defense of its existence.

In addition to this activity it is my companionate hope that you will prior to the conclusion of your term shall finalize those determinations with our NATO partners that reflect whatever probable contingencies may eventuate in that theater of war, so that they remain committed to providing the maximum magnitude of aid e.g. fiscal support, weapons technology, and strategic and tactical recommendations, should the U.S. become disinterested in ensuring that nation’s continued viability.

Finally, Mr. President, in a critically related matter I respectfully request that you remove the restrictions you have imposed on the Ukranian government with regard to the use of weapons we have furnished to them. As you are obviously aware should they be permitted to deploy these systems that reflect their maximum capabilities the damage they would inflict would be substantially augmented.

I am seeking your acquiescence to this prospective course of action not predicated as a response to the barbaric conduct that has characterized the Russian invasion and the enormity of the civilian casualties their conduct has exacted, but because the substantially increased damage and associated fatalities among the Russian forces which unleashing the totality of these weapon’s capabilities, may create the incentives required to stimulate a desire in Vladimir Putin to both seek discussions that will culminate in a cease fire and ultimately a state of peace between these belligerents and to engage in these deliberations in a posture of greater flexibility as well as a more conciliatory tone, which these increased casualties will have provoked.

The second crucial endeavor to which we who comprise the multi-faceted national coalition of organizations and individuals who vehemently oppose those prospective benighted and punitive initiatives that shall emanate from the White House once the 47th presidents term commences, must immediately create a comprehensive strategic response capability.

This shall be an instrumentality that will devote the period between this moment and the inauguration day ceremonies to formulating both the strategic plan and its prospective tactical implementation, to ensure that such grotesquely immoral projects as the mass deportation of the immigrants among us fails.

That whatever efforts are forthcoming to curb our civil liberties or inhibit the media’s capacities to critically evaluate this administration’s actions when they choose, that the tariffs which Trump has pledged to impose, that will result in an inflationary spiral and a recession that will inflict substantial suffering on those in this nation whose financial status is meager and precarious, as well as so many other policy and programmatic overtures that this cheif executive will introduce, that are cruel, immoral, and catastrophically elevate the quotient of deprivation and chaos in the lives of our fellow citizens, and thus must meet the identical fate of resounding failure.

I leave to those in the progressive universe the determinations as to precisely where this entity is situated, its specific mandate, its organizational structure, and the budgetary requirements to operationalize and sustain this imperative activity that must endure throughout the entirety of Donald Trump’s tenure.

I am a ferocious advocate of this course of action, i.e. the establishment of this national entity in order to minimize or eliminate the activation of a multiplicity of groups that will expend their resources, technical, fiscal, cognitive, etc. in a posture that will be duplicative and fragmented, when by precluding that eventuality the massive resources of those that comprise America’s progressive community may be deployed in the service of the specific initiatives that this strategic resource capability formulates and implements.

Moreover, I am absolutely certain that an activity with this sacred mission and mandate must be constructed as rapidly as feasible and commence the discharge of its incomparably important duties and responsibilities, if we are to emerge intact as a constitutional republic with the vibrant and unimpeded functioning of a dynamic democratic polity undiminished.

Finally, permit me to address the results of November 5th. The tragic electoral rejection of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz by our populace will long reverberate throughout our consciousness and collective memories, and as the Trump administration’s agenda unfolds many who supported his candidacy shall live to experience the draconian impact of his political preferences and objectives, and mourn and bemoan in retrospect how ill-considered and self-destructive their electoral predispositions in support of this demagogue will appear, as they absorb the pain and deprivation his governing proclivities have generated.

However, Senator Sanders is most accurate in his assessment that we the Democratic establishment have abandoned the members of this nation’s working class, and as a result they have sought the amelioration of their woes and burdens from those who espouse the values and prejudices enunciated by their MAGA standard-bearer.

Thus, what is in my view now required by all who function anywhere within the universe of our Democratic party be they elected officials or those that serve in staff capacities, at the local, state, and national, levels, is the explicit issuance to the American people of a Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa, for the apathy and callous disregard we have displayed to the concerns and desires of so many among us who as working-class Americans are responsible in their daily exertions in maintaining the structural, and functional integrity of our economy, and thus more broadly the continued viability of our society.

Subsequent to conveying our sincerest and authentic regrets for our behavior of which we have been guilty ever more profoundly since the conclusion of the Obama presidency, we must immediately commit ourselves to the following course of action, i.e. that we shall listen to the views and statements and aspirations of our constituents with a renewed attentiveness and genuine interest, and solicit their opinions and recommendations regarding those policy and programmatic initiatives that they believe contain the potential if enacted to improve their lives and their personal financial prospects.

In support of this national raison d’etre we must provide our unrelenting advocacy for all those efforts to enhance unimpeded access to union membership,to elevate the minimum wage in every jurisdiction, to demand that multi-national corporations allocate a substantial portion of their productivity increments to the employees whose exertions are responsible for these improvements, and to augment the scope and magnanimity of profit-sharing plans for those who comprise their workforce.

So too must we insist on government policies that significantly increase our nation’s portfolio of affordable housing, and vigorously assist those organizations at the local level who are seeking the revision of zoning regulations to permit the construction of multi-unit housing structures in these neighborhoods.

In addition to the preceding enumerations , we must be prepared to participate in other political endeavors which reflect the depth and breadth of our sincere empathy and fervent desire to alleviate their financial precarity and assist them in their struggles to convert their aspirations for themselves and their families into the vital realities that they are seeking to actualize.

What we shall derive from the continuing demonstration of this commitment of our political energy and capabilities to those who comprise this segment of our society, is the restoration of their appreciation of our exertions on their behalf and the companionate electoral support for those who have been responsive, in the mutual quest to both diminish their burdens and elevate their quality of life.

Moreover at the epicenter of our exertions we must prepare the efficacious programmatic and policy antidotes to those political decisions that negatively impact the financial welfare and escalate the instability and decomposition of the fragile and vulnerable nuclear families of our working class brethren, from the horrific impact which the deployment of the domestic agenda Donald Trump articulated during his campaign to recapture the White House will have wrought.

The response we construct that shall form the central element of the platform that shall undergird the campaigns we initiate on behalf of this aggrieved segment of our populace when the midterm elections transpire in 2026, will both mitigate their economic affliction and reimpose our presence as the enlightened and dominant majority in both the House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate.

However, as we engage in the preceding spectrum of activities it is imperative that we retain our vigorous and undiminished commitment to every element and component of our substantial national coalition, with particular attention to those to whom considerations of identity, and the LGBTQ community as well as those who protect critical academic freedoms . are of supreme importance.

We must not be tempted to join the rising anti-democratic chorus of those who condemn and vilify our fellow Americans who comprise these populations and instead remind them and other residents of this republic that their rights and concerns are as valid and legitimate as the priorities and ambitions of all other individual s irrespective of the normative systems to which they suscribe.

In this the final segment of 2024 during which we acknowledge our gratitude for the gifts and prosperity which residence in America bestows upon us and the subsequent celebration of various religious holidays which remind us of the transcendent value of joy, love, peace and our requirement to coexist in postures of collective affinity and mutual respect, we must also devote our energies and concerns to preparing to respond and neutralize the unprecedented challenges to the maintenance of our democratic polity which the imminent return of Donald Trump to the presidency augurs.

Though this enormously disquieting reality is one that so many of us devoutly wished would not eventuate it tragically has come to pass, and we must respond to this unalterable political future with the intelligence, rationality, energy, vision, and unflagging commitment and resilience, which the literal salvation of our democracy requires.

We possess the requisite capacities and capabilities to triumph in this struggle, if we are and remain unremittingly committed to ensure that victory will ultimately crown our exertions, and as a result we shall entrust to our children and future generations this extraordinary cultural experiment which has endured and evolved and provided incomparably significant global leadership in the decades that have elapsed since the conclusion of the second world war.

Thus, have I completed my analysis of our contemporary political circumstances and what in my view we the tens of millions of us who value the perpetuation of our society’s constitutional order that has remained viable for almost 250 years must immediately initiate, if we are to survive the potentially catastrophic depredations that could befall us during the administration of the 47th president of the United States.

It is my intent to engage with every fiber of my being, equipped with the inheritance of the unrelenting ferocity which my service in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam era has instilled, armed with the spiritual endowment which the legacy of 32 years of sobriety has nurtured, deriving the incalculably rich insights which my fidelity to the prophetic traditions of the Jewish faith have produced, and profiting enormously from the incredibly lavish intellectual fertility that I was exposed to during my graduate studies at Brown University, to oppose in concert with the skill and talents and energies of tens of millions of Americans, any and all attempts by the administration that are injurious to our body politic, that will commence its term of office on January 20th, 2025.

Those initiatives that seek the curtailment of civil liberties, we shall thwart. Efforts that accelerate inflation and a stimulate a recessionary dynamic we shall oppose. Energies devoted to the unconstitutional deployment of military personnel to deport immigrants or punish “the enemies within”, we shall resist. Measures that enable federal allocations to enrich billionaires who in the name of efficiency strive to deprive the elderly, infirm, and our nation’s children of the vitally critical fiscal resources to remain viable, will be rebuffed.

So too shall we with all the resources at our disposal frustrate proposals for peace that do not require the removal of invading military forces in Ukraine, and the companionate necessity of a resolution to the conflagrations in the middle east that do not demand the establishment of a two state solution, to the inter unremitting conflict between the Israel and the Palestinian people.

Each and every overture your administration introduces for consideration that augments enmity between segments of our citizenry, and triggers the deterioration or decomposition of various minority communities we shall subvert, as well as those that further degrade our efforts to impede climate change and energize the effectiveness of the forces of global warming, these too we will render harmless.

In the astounding eventuality that your presidency sponsors measures or policies that strengthen our democratic polity or would impact in some salutary regard the lives of our citizens, we will join you in attempting to translate those proposals into legislative reality.

Mr. Trump we have begun our preparations for your most regrettable return to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and we shall complete them before you intone the oath of office on the afternoon of the 20th of January, 2025.

From that moment forward until your merciful departure on the 20th of January, 2029, in modes that are both entirely lawful and universally non-violent, we shall not for one instant cease our opposition to your mendacious and cruel agenda.

Our efforts to preserve our constitutional order and our manifold exertions to respond to the populist yearnings of so many of our fellow Americans for a monetary circumstance that will afford them at the very least a modicum of material self-sufficiency, and a modest quotient of ease and comfort, will never reflect a moment’s respite.

When a caravan of your possessions departs from the White House on that day in the month of January, 2029, our nation shall breathe a sigh of tremulous existential relief that we have survived your administration , and that we have remained as the result of our unceasing exertions despite your unrelenting Herculean overtures to irrevocably impair its structural integrity, the world’s premiere example of representative government, in a mode that is viable, functioning, and poised to embark on a pathway to achieve the interminably deferred dream of a more perfect union.

In addition,

Rage and grievance, sulfuric condemnation, racism and resentment, and a thirst for bludgeoning and dismembering those who oppose their prejudices.

These are the ferocious aspirations of the MAGA faithful, to defenestrate both rhetorically and in other contexts in postures of physical violence, any among our populace who do not comprise the coterie of Caucasian Christian Nationalists.

It is the preceding characteristics and proclivities by which those at the epicenter of the cult of Donald Trump are defined and embodied.

They exist in some fundamental regard to vilify and excoriate those whose racial backgrounds reflect membership in any minority group within our culture. African-Americans, citizens of indigenous origin, those of Hispanic and Asian antecedents are equally inferior and deserve little consideration, when calculating those social and political priorities which should animate our governmental policies and determinations.

None among the preceding warrant any consideration or assistance in their quest to actualize their individual depictions of the American Dream, and the substantive contributions so many of them provide to our republic’s welfare and prosperity are dismissed and delegitimatized.

Moreover, should you be among those who embrace theologies such as Judaism, or Muslim precepts, or any other normative religious system other than the traditional institutional elements which comprise the broader panoply of a Protestant value system, the members of the MAGA universe reject those creeds and spiritual dogmas as alien apostacies and in their intrinsic content repugnantly anti American, and thus beneath contempt.

Should you inquire in a posture of incredulity and despondency how is it that those tens of millions among us who radiate these venomous biases and fervid animosities have come into being in this the world’s most ancient and revered democratic polity?

I shall be most pleased to provide for those who wish to discover the fundamental influences that are responsible for this contemporary societal tragedy the causes of this affliction that is devouring our nation’s soul and spirit.

This cadre of malignant populists have been marinating in a broth of virulent pathogenic influences for decades. Since the advent of the Reagan hegemony when greed and a national rampant materialism swept over our culture, and the financialization of our society began its ascendancy, these forces have in the decades since inflicted great harm on the economic realities in which they are trapped.

In the four decades since their advent these pernicious influences have intensified and in their pervasive scope been responsible for so much within the lives of these Americans that have precipitated the erosion of their modest platforms of financial security and the companionate loss of their social status and an associated dramatic decline in their perception of their self-worth.

So too do those who comprise these groups suffer from the delusion that they as Caucasians are culturally superior and reside at the apogee of our national racial hierarchy, have witnessed in postures of apoplectic enmity the various federal initiatives to assist the ascent of other ethnic groups in this republic, i.e. African-Americans, Hispanics, and Native Americans, and those of Asian descent, to redress historical grievances that have endured for generations.

For it is these unremitting prejudices that have consigned so many in those aggregations to lives of poverty, educational deprivation , environments of virulent racism, and a societal climate of abuse and the rejection of their legitimate claims and their strenuous attempts to achieve a measure of equity, as they strive to exit the cruel deformity of life as second-class citizens.

In other portions of their universe, the oligarchs have orchestrated the decline and attendant impotence of organized labor to represent the interests and welfare of their members, and until very recently could not prevent the further erosion of their precarious financial circumstances

Major public companies shed employees and replaced them with independent contractors who were denied virtually all benefits that had been customarily regarded as integral components of the mutual explicit contractual relationships that were extant between these corporate behemoths and those who labored within their facilities,

Thus were medical insurance, overtime increments, paid vacations, compensated holidays, bonuses, profit sharing, productivity allocations, and other ingredients of traditional employment agreements severely circumscribed, if not entirely rescinded.

Moreover, the resources within these companies that had supported these disbursements were primarily utilized to serve three purposes; the reacquisition of the corporation’s publicly traded shares of stock, and the award of mammoth bonuses to senior executives in these entities, and the distribution of enormous dividends to the firm’s shareholders.

The unceasing dynamic of globalization has been responsible for the continuing decline of manufacturing facilities that have departed from our shores and assumed residence in other environs, in which labor costs and environmental safeguards are but a fraction of what previously obtained domestically.

Though wages have recently experienced a national ascendency, these modest gains have not improved in any meaningful regard the lives of tens of millions of employees who have been subject for decades to the significant erosion of their financial well-being.

The financial institutions who sit astride our economy have affixed to their credit instruments obscene and unprecedented APR’s, that now approach 30%, and the private equity firms that constitute the “shadow banking sector” so defined in that they escape in any substantive regard the requirements that various federal regulatory agencies impose upon the nation’s largest banks with regard to “stress tests” capital reservoirs that must be held in reserve, and other regulations to ensure that the debacles that so devastatingly impacted our populace in 2008 does not recur.

At this moment as we approach the 2024 plebiscite this autumn, the expenditures allocated by those in the private sector to ensure that lobbyists at all levels remain continuously engaged in influencing both federal and state governments to deter the enactment of legislation that will erode their profits or circumscribe their political influence has approached unprecedented magnitudes.

However, it is their generosity to the welter of nonprofits that represent those in the MAGA world that receive the funds which enable them to conduct the culture wars in virtually every locale and encampment of our society where controversy and conflict reigns, that is supremely damaging to our democratic polity and the cultural cohesion which our republic so desperately requires at this moment if we are to survive intact as the worlds most respected representative government.

These contributions stoke the efforts of those who wish to remove from school libraires the works of authors who comprise the canon of those who reside within the LGBTQ Universe

These donations operationalize campaigns to limit abortions and curtail reproductive care in a broader context. These dollars activate the dynamics which fuel the efforts of White supremacists and other endeavors’ of hate and virulent prejudice in the religous realm, i.e. antisemitism and Islamophobic activities, and other initiatives to ridicule and, dehumanize those whose racial origins and theological embraces fall outside the realm of “Christian Nationalism.”

However, the extraordinary irony of this unceasing allocation of massive sums to those groups and individuals who are engaged in various facets of the comprehensive national “culture wars” is the fact that in virtually every element of the rhetorical and inter-organizational combat in which these individuals are furiously engaged, the oligarchs who sustain these exertions are rarely committed to the normative values these entities so ferociously advocate,.

The sole motivating animus that prompts them to provide these financial bequests is to sustain the enmity, hatred, bigotry, and chaos that is extant throughout every corner of our republic.

This unholy alliance between the oligarchs who sit astride our polity and the components of the MAGA movement enables in numerous instances the elevation and retention as public officials those who are vigorous proponents of the policies and agendas which benefit this miniscule coterie of billionaires, whose affluence and the augmentation of their political influence are their only concerns.

The mammoth sums required to fuel those political campaigns that result in their victories have as their source the identical group of the obscenely wealthy that support the lobbying community in the nation’s capital and in other cities in this nation, sustain the activities of MAGA nonprofits, and provide the funds to innumerable entities that exist to frustrate the progressive forces in the United States that are dedicated to enlarging the realm of social justice initiatives.

So too do they seek to augment the magnitude and virulence of those legislative initiatives, and governmental policies that reaffirm the continued consignment of various minorities and religious adherents within the dungeons of poverty and hopelessness in which they have been dwelling since the inception of our nation’s founding

What may ultimately emerge from the dysfunction, paralysis, and in some centrally substantive regard, the total inability to produce legislation that can attract the support of a majority of representatives who serve in the halls of Congress and in other innumerable law-making bodies in our nation, is the perception that the systems, institutions, and processes of our democratic polity are no longer relevant or viable and in order to maintain a functioning society we must jettison these entities and replace them with an autocratic or authoritarian form of governance.

There are tragically numerous historical examples of this eventuality. The ascension of Hitler and the Nazis in Germany, the Mussolini era in Italy, and in a more contemporary time frame the totalitarian state which Vladimir Putin sits astride, and the political status that exists in Venezuela, and the substantial erosion of political liberties and civic autonomy which Victor Orban continues to orchestrate in Hungary.

It is to these destinations that our oligarchy will escort us if we do not mount an unprecedented national campaign to deprive them of their influence and financial efficacy, for they are of the opinion that their commercial interests will not be negatively impacted in a culture that has forsaken representative democracy and embraced an authoritarian modus operandi.

They subscribe to this view because they are intimately familiar with the massive profits that those industrial behemoths at the apogee of German society generated during the fascist period in which the Third Reich was the hegemonic force in their nation, as well as in numerous other examples in which the historical record confirms that totalitarian states are those environments in which mammoth commercial entities can thrive and prosper if they subordinate their mercantile agendas and provide unflagging support for the ascendant regime.

However, beyond their primary incentive to unceasingly augment their affluence and political hegemony, there is a simultaneous animating force, that in some respects eclipses their fervor to retain the two previously articulated goals.

What terrifies this miniscule cohort of billionaires is the belief that the progressive coalitions within our nation whatever the specific initiatives these organizations are advocating, constitutes a secondary or tertiary importance that is dwarfed by the preeminent consideration that irrespective of the fate of these particular proposals be it, success or failure, or other succeeding cascades of policy goals or objectives, there will never eventuate a moment in our polity when the requests and demands of this coterie of our populace who so fervently embrace the normative concerns that comprise a social justice agenda for America will ever be satisfied or cease their efforts to accomplish the realization of their vision of what constitutes an equitable society in which the fullness of the aspirations the founding fathers articulated almost two and a half centuries ago will finally become an empirically rendered cultural reality.

Their collective perceptions about those who comprise the liberal progressive element of our society will be unrelenting in their efforts and exertions to mitigate poverty, diminish racism, abolish religious bigotry, eliminate misogyny, restore reproductive care for women, and ensure that those who are members of the LGBTQ community enjoy the rights and opportunities that all others in this culture must be afforded,.

So too are they of the unalterable belief that the enlightened humanists in our culture are fervently committed most crucially to the formulation and deployment of a national strategic initiative that has as its objective the elimination of the suffering and hopelessness which life in circumstances of abject poverty has consigned so many millions of our fellow citizens. They are most correct in their assumptions.

Among the central requirements to actualize that agenda are the imperative financial resources to operationalize the policies and programs necessary to accomplish these objectives. What we are requesting is that the oligarchs among us contribute to the federal treasury those allocations which are proportionally equivalent to the levies imposed upon the overwhelming majority of our citizens who labor as salaried employees in those entities which compose our economy.

At this historical moment their armies of lawyers and accountants devise and utilize those innumerable exemptions that allows them to legally escape their civic responsibilities and take refuge in the complex labyrinth of regulations that so richly enables the twin predispositions’ of tax avoidance and tax evasion.

The cure for these lethal pathologies which the oligarchs among us have perpetrated and sustain will not be found in the halls of Congress where so many representatives are beholden to the class of plutocrats that fuel their endless campaigns to gain and retain their status as public officials.

Nor does the Executive branch of our government possess the capability to effectively countermand the agendas and priorities which this elite coterie unceasingly seeks to implement.

Moreover, the current composition of the Supreme Court provides aid and comfort in its judicial determinations to much of what the plutocracy choses to support and advocate as well.

Thus, the sole segment of our society from which the possibility of a redress of our grievances and the multitude of afflictions which are extant resides with an aroused and committed citizenry, that is dedicated to a transformation of this nation into a democratic polity in which a structure of national equity may become a reality that reflects as its intrinsic character an ascendant and vibrant humanistic ethos.

At this moment of crisis in our republic it is once again as it has at so many crucial previous junctures of the life of the world’s most preeminent democracy, if our salvation is to be achieved it will be as the result of the unrelenting and ferocious activities of “We the People.”

And at the epicenter of those exertions we must initiate is to identify every major source of financial support for those organizational entities which comprise the MAGA universe, as well as those individuals within these funding entities who sit at the apogee of these institutions.

Beyond revealing their existence and the fact of their monetary largesse that maintains the operations of these sources of bigotry and the viability of a destructive populist dynamic, we must locate and unveil the specific private sector corporations from which these executives derive their wealth.

In addition as a central element of this process of research and investigation we must illuminate the principal clients of these companies that by their purchases of the products and services these commercial ventures provide sustain their viability.

Equipped with this vital information we must engage with the senior corporate executives who serve as members of the board of directors and the CEO’s of these entities and inform them of our unceasing opposition to their political agendas and their monetary contributions to those in the MAGA environment, and request that they cease and desist in these activities.

Our multi-tier campaigns should include public relations initiatives which highlight their donations to these organizations, demonstrations at annual shareholder meetings. coordination with the national coalition of progressive organizations to implement and sustain a boycott of these groups and the companies that purchase their products and services.

In addition we must institute litigation in response to those policies and actions these private sector actors sponsor or undertake that contravene federal regulatory policies or state laws with particular concern for those actions which are discriminatory and reflect racial or religious bias or are environmentally harmful.

Among those who are currently contributing the most generous sums to the MAGA constellation of organizations are Robert Bigelow, whose principal commercial involvement is Real Estate development. Timothy Mellon is also a most lavish in his support of various MAGA entities. Linda McMahon, a former candidate for the U.S. Senate from the state of Connecticut, and the wife of the Chairman of the WWE, Vince McMahon, have provided substantial financial allocations to groups within the MAGA world,, as have Diane Hendricks of Hendricks Holdings, whose revenues are derived from the sale of roofing and windows manufacture and installation. Tim Dunn who has allocated substantive sums to various components of the MAGA structure, has generated his most considerable wealth from oil drilling activity.

However, the preceding are but the most notable of those in our oligarchy who continue their support of entities who are engaged in endeavors that are literally precipitating the unraveling of the world’s foremost democratic polity.

We must convey to all who are meaningfully involved in this effort that the continuation of their financial support for the forces which are tearing this nation asunder will be at the expense of the enormous wealth they have devoted their lives and energies to accumulating.

This is the momentous undertaking to which we must devote our energies and the unrelenting dedication of our total resources as we confront an existential moment in this the Spring of 2024. We must not fail for if that eventually befalls us the loss of our system of representative government will become permanently irrecoverable. Should that occur historians will one day write that this extraordinary tragedy dwarfed in its significance in the annals of the liberal enlightenment all that preceded it.

In these the waning days of summer of 2023, it is in my view imperative to address a task that beyond all others in my estimation is critically required to significantly mitigate the ferocious arguments and the intermittent lethal conflicts that currently beset our polity.

Though the grievances of numerous groups reflect widely dissimilar sources and a character and content that contain many variables that are unrelated, in some fundamental regard, they all share an intrinsic legitimacy in that their rage and criticisms are valid and in some essential context if we as a society are ever to transcend this moment of imminent cultural unraveling and implosion. these injustices must be addressed and diminished.

Among the members of our African-American cohort, did there exist the multi-century reality which commenced in enslavement and mutated into a virulent Jim Crow that endured for decades. This era subsequently yielded to a civil rights epoch that witnessed the political and economic pathologies in which they were imprisoned were in some partial regard ameliorated. However in the contemporary moment their descendants now reside in a republic that has reinvigorated the unembarrassed public expression of a rejuvenated racism and unceasing episodic acts of lethal violence, which are decimating their community.

The prejudices and discrimination which has endured for more than two centuries has produced a populace that remains in the basement of our democracy by virtually every measure of evaluation, i.e. economically, educationally, in terms of life span, crime infested physical environments, and for many among their ranks a perpetual presence in medical and psychological environments that are psychologically crippling and spiritually deforming.

Within another segment of our fellow citizens we encounter the descendants of the Native American tribes which long before the successive waves of European colonial subjugation found their way to this continent, lived in settlements and communities in which nature was revered and human dominion was not onerously implemented.

As our forebearers increased their numbers and our exploration of the territories that lay adjacent to the original 13 colonies increased, formal policies to evict this indigenous population from their historical residencies were deployed. In response to these draconian initiatives as they resisted this encroachment, they became victims of genocidal brutality and were ultimately coerced into involuntary residence in the Southwest and other geographic areas on reservations where many of their descendants continue to exist to this day, in misery and squalor.

Frequently various treaties which were formulated in concert with these tribes that ostensibly protected their civil rights and the management and ownership of valuable natural resources, were ignored or unilaterally abrogated by those in our national administration who were responsible for the welfare and viability of these groups.

Throughout the many decades in which they resided on these reservations in conditions of poverty and unabated anti-Indian sentiment, various afflictions beset their populations. Alcoholism became rampant, crime escalated, and from this atmosphere of social pathology an emasculated and dependent populace evolved.

Finally, we address that other segment of American society that has since the Reagan hegemony and the dynamic of globalization that has been in the ascendancy for more than four decades, are millions of workers in various manufacturing sectors of our economy who have been evicted from their status as employees in hundreds of those companies, who have relocated their facilities overseas to avail themselves of reduced labor costs and environmental regulations that are less invasive and substantive in their requirements.

It is in this component of our economy that the casualties that sustained these losses in their prolonged unemployment subsequent to the involuntary furloughs that were imposed upon them have suffered most severe financial injuries. The great majority of those who sere displaced were Caucasian males, with high school educations who resided in areas of this nation that were principally rural in character.

Thus, whether African-American in ethnic origin, or a member of an Native American tribe, or a Caucasian male who has been summarily ejected from the middle class, in some cumulative quantitative regard they comprise more than 50 million of our fellow citizens.

Though their tragic plights is attributable to very disparate causes, these groups share the deplorable similarity of a contemporary existence in this the most affluent society in the history of the human experience, that is composed of impoverishment, enormous suffering, and a future that is bleak and untenable, that has fostered and perpetuated a personal consciousness of hopelessness that often induces self-destructive behaviors or other social pathologies.

In a rational universe these entities would join forces to exert their influence in the political arena and ferociously advocate for those policies and programs that would ameliorate their collective impoverishment

However, the horrifically lamentable current circumstance finds the members of these constituencies in a fierce and unrelenting national conflict with each other in a state of cultural warfare, that seeks to dominate and dismember those who oppose their agendas and their most cherished objectives.

White supremacists engage in acts of violence against innocent Black citizens who are involved in the harmless daily activities that life demands of us all.

The adherents of a Trumpian perspective seek to cleanse school curricula and public libraries of texts that convey the totality of the historical American experience, and provide insights into the gay and LGBTQ normative frame of reference.

Other elements of the MAGA universe are rabid supporters of organizations who wish to elevate to both state supreme courts and of course our nation’s Supreme Court, conservative judges who will greatly diminish if not explicitly outlaw abortions and impede the regulatory power of government at all levels to pursue the implementation of a green revolution, and deploy ever- more comprehensive restrictions on the exploration and utilization of fossil fuels.

Their exertions are equally vigorous in the realm of state legislatures where legislative initiatives are introduced to further exacerbate the current Gerrymandered electoral configurations, in the quest to perpetuate Republican hegemonies in perpetuity.

Their lobbyists and those public officials who are perpetual recipients of the donations required to sustain their tenure in these bodies, are unfailingly opposed to those legislative initiatives which would levy reasonable and most warranted tax obligations on their mammoth incomes, with particular care to protect those in the financial sector of our economy from the mandated federal requirements which so many among us who derive their incomes from the wages that comprise their annual compensation as salaried employees in both the private and public sector are compelled to submit.

So too will those who serve the infinitesimal number of neoliberal plutocrats be certain to oppose any overtures to strengthen unions, diminish subsidies to the fossil fuel industries, and remain implacable foes of all attempts to mitigate the causes of global warming.

The preceding mammoth litany of actions and agendas that the reactionary forces and institutions that currently hold sway in this society are unalterably committed to sustaining, are those economic arrangements and political realities that have obtained since the Reagan hegemony , i.e. a democratic polity in name only,, ever- increasing inequality, and a cultural dynamic that renders impotent all our citizens whose names do not appear on the annual compilation of the oligarchs among us that Forbes magazine publishes, or comparable journalistic exercises.

However as central as their unremitting opposition is to implementing any aspect or facet of those policies and programmatic initiatives which ameliorate the fundamental inequities that are extant in our republic, there exists an additional major impediment to the requisite moral imperative of transforming our polity into an authentic equitable society, i.e. the absence of a majoritarian consensus and allegiance to an alternative macropolitical and a humanistic post-capitalistic economic system that contains the potential to remediate our contemporary social pathologies and our pervasive and entrenched structural injustices.

The single most imperative requirement to accomplish the transformation of America is to form a coalition and alliance that is impossible to decompose of those previously cited groups, e.g. our Native American populace, those who comprise our national community of African-American fellow citizens , and those who are the casualties of globalization and related economic dislocations and calamities.

From this movement with the energy and unwavering commitment to the irreducible and primary principles contained in the paradigm “MOBILIZING AMERICA,” which appears within the Vision category on my website, EquitableAmerica.com, and the strategies delineated in this proposal to translate this initiative into reality, the ultimate success of this crucial endeavor will be assured.

Let us join together in this noble and critical undertaking and finally through the unceasing exertions of our nation’s re-founding fathers and mothers, create an equitable democratic polity that reflects and embodies the normative content of all major theologies and the components of a robust and expansive humanistic creed.

Permit me to enumerate in all its grotesque and mammoth dimensions a universe in which our democracy mutates into an authoritarian system of political behavior.

Beyond the irretrievable reality of the devastation to the ethos of individual liberties and the collective principles of a national purpose, and a sacred commitment to the welfare and equity of all who compose our populace; the fundamental character of our nation will reflect at is epicenter, a brutal, violent, and irredeemable Neo-Hobbesian character in a cultural dynamic that shall eternally preclude the possibility of recapturing a democratic agenda and raison d’etre, to which our citizens can comit their allegiance and the passionate subscription of their energies.

In the international realm what indispensable capability will exist to marshal the resources of democratic societies whatever their locale to oppose totalitarian rulers and initiatives, whether these efforts require diplomatic and/or military resources in the absence of our leadership?

When successive waves of pandemic afflictions engulf the globe from whence will the concerted and extraordinary technical resources and ingenuity required to blunt its progress and contain its lethality originate, in a world that lacks our current capabilities?

When inevitably the manifold plagues which climate change has spawned and grows every more extensive and lethal in its manifestations, which nation shall mobilize and sustain the exertions required to tame and reverse its most pernicious handiwork when we have descended into a societal conglomeration of chaos and impotence?

Who will initiate the numerous campaigns and initiatives that are required to rectify and heal those conflicts and ferocious disagreements that fester in so many locales on our planet, that inflict so much death and suffering on its involuntary participants if we withdraw our attention and cease our involvement in these contentious and brutal altercations?

The partial recitation of the disastrous consequences that would befall so many individual inhabitants and societies should we succumb to the virulent and intensifying forces of anti-democratic populism that is currently raging in the United States, is both impossible to fully predict and terrifying in its implications.

For all the reasons I have previously cited and others that are too numerous to elucidate, it is imperative that we respond at this crucial juncture as the summer of 2022 enters its final weeks, to mobilize a national campaign of sustained activity to ensure that we retain an operational democratic polity however anemic and compromised its present status.

This critical prospective endeavor contains the following elements that cumulatively reflect as their objective the crucial necessity of ensuring that every component of the private sector empires which the neoliberal oligarchy has constructed and is currently operative, becomes insolvent and thus sinks beneath the waves of an irredeemable bankrupt status as rapidly as feasible, from which it shall never recover.

By accomplishing this goal we shall deprive the contemporary universe of foundations, non-profit organizations, institutes, and other such institutional entities that are the combatants that are destroying our democratic polity, whose exertions should they succeed, shall usher in an era of authoritarianism that is fascistic in its fundamental character and bears no resemblance to previous expressions of genuine populistic fervor that is contained within our nation’s historical record.

Thus, in the final analysis the antidote to the lethal and ultimately fatal agenda of dismantling our republic is to render inoperative those commercial entities that fuel their donations and contributions to the preceding phalanx of entities. The accomplishment of that imperative necessity shall provoke these purveyors of fatal pathologies to wither and expire in the absence of these financial resources.

To cite one specific example of a mammoth financial structure that resides at the epicenter of the neoliberal source of funding, one need look no further than the 100 billion dollar entity which Charles Koch has constructed. The corporate elements of which it is composed are principally those energy conglomerates within the fossil fuel realm. In addition, among those companies which he controls include Georgia-Pacific a purveyor of lumber and paper products which are purchased by many organizations, in the construction realm both residential and commercial in their activities, as well as innumerable businesses of every variety for which paper products serve a multiplicity of uses.

The paradigm that must be deployed in order to enormously reduce the revenues which flow to GP as the result of the purchases of substantial quantities of their inventory, is to identify the most significant customers that acquire these products and inform the senior management of these entities that they must cease the financial transactions in which they have been traditionally engaged, and obtain their requirements for lumber and paper products from other suppliers.

Specifically from .those entities who support the reinvigoration of our democratic polity, as opposed to those such as Charles Koch who allocate millions of dollars to organizations which are ceaselessly seeking at all levels of our society, i.e. local, state, and federal ,to dismember and obliterate the capability to implement an agenda of priorities and policies that embody the majoritarian consensus which our populace embraces in such realms as civil rights, global warming, individual reproductive freedoms, economic equity initiatives, and those mandates to protect the sanctity of our elections, and so many other areas of intense fervor where the wishes of our citizens are dismissed and rejected by those who serve the demands and preferences of our nation’s oligarchy.

It is this approach to constricting and ultimately eliminating the monstrous annual flow of gargantuan sums from this neoliberal universe that must be applied to each and every private sector entity within the neoliberal galaxy if we are to reclaim our republic.

As we undertake this process of rigorous research to both identify these companies and their principal customers, we must also enlarge and financially fortify those entities within the progressive non-profit realm, as well as those commercial enterprises that support various activities and agendas that revivify and reinvigorate the functioning and efficacy of those initiatives and endeavors that seek to return to our citizens the control of our governmental decisions and determinations.

This national campaign must commence immediately if we are to defeat the forces among us who wish the further the irrevocable dissolution of the American experience that has endured for almost two and one half centuries.

Let the word go out to every citizen and all those organizations and institutions that comprise our polity that there does not exist in this moment as the autumn of 2022 looms imminently, a more urgent or imperative task that the summoning and deployment of our collective resources to salvage what remains of our democracy, and by so doing to restore its vibrancy and capacity to provide to all who reside among us a society in which inequities and inequalities that have endured and accelerated since our founding shall be remedied, and as a result we shall achieve the more perfect union toward which we have been ceaselessly striving since the establishment of our nation.

The significance of those events which transpire in 2022 cannot be overstated. Whatever facet of the public realm in which they occur nothing less than the survival of what currently remains of our functioning democracy (however autocratic and anemic its status) is at grievous risk of its total dissolution.

In every sector of our society the forces of retrenchment, reaction, and the repeal of all that is progressive and an enlightened and liberatory agenda, is under unremitting and relentless bombardment.

Whether the particular objective is to suppress the electoral volition of minorities, delete elements of a public school curriculum that contains the horrific truths of our republic’s racist legacy, or the decimation of the indigenous populations who were residents of this continent long before our arrival, or the tragic history of our efforts as a nation to reject and exclude immigrants due to considerations of ethnicity or religious affiliations to be permitted to establish residency on our shores, the cumulative impact of these activities is accelerating the decomposition of our social cohesion and the acceleration of the strife and polarization by which we are afflicted.

In related areas of enormous concern, we are witnessing the importation into our cultural mainstream of racist tropes and virulent expressions of both anti-Semitism and anti-Islamic condemnation. So too are major segments of our fellow citizens engaged in the nihilistic behavior that rejects effective medical antidotes to the pathogen of Covid-19 in its various iterations, that due to their intransigence and deluded embrace in the name of persona liberty has caused the deaths of more than 800,000 americans since its inception in 2020.

These manifestations of self-destructiveness and their societal ramifications retard our national recovery to a salutary state of public health, and simultaneously obstruct the speed and extent to which our economy may recoup the losses it has sustained since the advent of this plague’s arrival among our populace.

However, beyond all those previously cited calamities and pathologies by which we are presently accosted none poses the mortal threat to our maintenance as a democratic polity which the malignant and pervasive hoax that our previous president has ceaselessly reiterated since his campaign to secure a second term as our commander-in-chieff was rebuffed, is the fraudulent and wholly discredited assertion that his defeat was attributable to the nefarious and illegal machinations of various elements of those officials who had supervised the 2020 electoral contest.

This delusionary claim has enthralled and mesmerized tens of millions of our citizens who as a result aver that the current occupant of the White House has been illegitimately installed, and among this coterie of our fellow Americans there are many who advocate as an antidote to “restore” the nation’s true purpose and adherence to its founding principles, a resort to violence if that is what is required to rectify this contemporary anomaly .

Thus, do they vigorously support the efforts of state legislatures to engage in the further gerrymandering of congressional districts and state and local precincts to ensure that those officials who represent them will retain their positions ad infinitum, and reject the initiatives of those in our nation who have been denied the promises which our founding fathers enunciated, and wish to redress those grievances by ensuring that those policies and programs which are adopted within the political realm are sufficiently efficacious to ameliorate those enduring injustices.

The dangers which these perspectives pose could not be more perilous to the maintenance of our democracy, for at the very epicenter of those beliefs about our republic is the sacrosanct notion that our citizenry via the ballot box shall determine our fate as a nation, and that each of us shall be afforded this constitutional prerogative, and that every such vote cast shall be duly recorded and tabulated and in concert with the votes of all others who have expressed their electoral preferences shall determine the composition of those individuals we have entrusted the crucial task of managing our public affairs.

Should that fundamental embrace of the validity of this process be compromised and as a result a significant portion of our populace becomes committed to the notion that the remedy for our current woes lies in the “therapeutic” dynamic of violence, our experiment in representative democracy which has endured for almost two and a half centuries shall be abrogated, and we shall be engulfed in a second civil war that in its form and content will bear little resemblance to the previous national conflagration, but will nonetheless irrevocably terminate our standing among those who remain functioning democratic states and plunge us into an interminable nightmare of authoritarian rule, or even more forbidding an era in which we suffer under the yoke of a governmental structure and dynamic that is a fully rendered exercise in fascism.

The response which this draconian possibility that is looming every more proximate and probable demands is the mobilization of a comprehensive campaign that enlists and involves every single element of those organizations and entities which are currently engaged in any facet of the struggle to create a nation that is transformational in its character and reflects and embodies in the vision of the strategic paradigm it advocates those realities that comprise a progressive, equitable, and liberating narrative and conceptual typology.

It is via this instrumentality and its implementation and ascendancy in this nation that we will finally become the empirical realization of the values and broader normative ethical underpinnings which those who formulated the precepts of the enlightenment so many centuries ago can acknowledge that their prescriptions for a society in which social justice is operative has at long last been called into being.

Subsequent to a half-century campaign to eviscerate the political efficacy of the vast majority of our citizens who comprise the 99% of our populace, the billionaires among us have determined that the retention of any meaningful capacity by this preponderance of residents within our republic must be sacrificed, if the plutocrats are to maintain their “liberties” to plunder our economy and dominate our political processes and institutions.

To accomplish this objective, the operational dismemberment of our polity, they are deploying an extensive array of strategic approaches and tactical practices.

From those at all levels of the Republican apparatus be they within “red” counties or states and among those who represent these constituencies within the House and Senate, are a blizzard of initiatives emerging that obstruct and diminish the capacity of minority communities to exercise their franchise.

In the arena of public financial expenditures, the accumulation of increasing debt and deficits is permissible to provide substantial monetary benefits to their constituents that comprise their base of wealthy donors, but are to be rejected should they ease the burdens of the middle-class or those among us who are impoverished.

So too do they remain committed to the allocation of vast sums to support our military establishment and the militarization of local police forces throughout the nation, but ferociously oppose policies and programmatic endeavors to rectify the devastation which systemic racism has wreaked on our African-American cohorts, and the remediation of the genocidal treatment which the Native-American universe has sustained both historically and contemporarily as well.

Beyond the legislative precincts of our polity, their nefarious intentions are aided by both the Executive branch of our federal government when those who reside at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue are members of their party, which Donald Trump most recently exemplified, and those jurists at all levels, selected for their service by the Federalist Society to continue the erosion of a democratic populist will and further enfeeble their capacity to chart the direction of our society.

The sole justification for the recent support which a very modest number of Republican Senators provided to ensure the passage of a desperately required infrastructure legislation was the fact that it did not impose additional financial burdens on our oligarchy to fund these activities.

You may be certain that none among them will vote to approve the multi-trillion dollar “human” infrastructure pending legislation that will be of enormous value to the lives and welfare of those who generate modest incomes or who are mired in the basements of destitution.

For contained in this legislation is the requirement that the enormously profitable corporate behemoths among us as well as the miniscule realm of those who have amassed mammoth personal fortunes, provide in the name of of the imperative requirements which social equity imposes, increase their annual contributions to our federal treasury.

In addition to these activities those in the Libertarian coterie are anticipating a future in which a sufficient critical mass of states will find to their way to a majoritarian Republican status and thus permit them to summon a constitutional convention in order to effect those alterations of our current polity and the provisions inherent in its management, to permanently enshrine the legitimacy and legality of minority rule in the United States.

Should you doubt this possibility various representatives from the phalanx of organizations and institutes which this oligarchy funds convened in Utah during the summer for precisely this purpose, to prepare for the previously cited eventuality and thus to recommend specific revisions to our constitutional order that when ratified will accomplish their goals.

While those in the Democratic party squabble among themselves in the quest to hammer out a compromise which both moderates and progressives can ratify in areas relative to voting rights, climate change, decreasing massive inequalities among our populace, and increasing our resistance to cyber incursions from foreign powers and non state actors, and formulating various strategies to combat terrorism from sources both foreign and domestic, the sole preoccupation of their Republican colleagues is to engage in the culture wars which rage to sustain the incitement of the disaffected groups that comprise the Trumpian universe.

Their contribution to the resolution of the current exigencies with which we as a culture are contending, i.e. Covid 19, and the anti-vaccine constituency which in the name pf persona liberty refuses both to be inoculated against this deadly pathogen or be tested for its presence frequently, nor even to don masks to protect themselves from the devastating consequences which contracting this virus may precipitate is non-existent.

Beyond the specific components of their tactical forays to destabilize and dismember our cultural cohesiveness is the ultimate goal of engaging in a broad panoply of activities which will conclude in either a national consensus that democracy has become fatally deficient in equitably ordering the affairs of our citizen and must yield to an authoritarian paradigm, or a fascist construct of governance to provide the” rational” guidance our society requires to function.

Thus do we witness in pursuit of that eventuality the following table of endeavors; the assertion that pervasive voter fraud exists, that the powers of those officials charged with supervising our elections should be substantially curtailed, that in extreme cases of electoral “Irregularities” the determination of state legislatures should supersede the results an election has reflected.

In addition, those voices in our polity that advocate political overtures to mitigate inequality or societal inequities that diminish impoverishment, must be muted and hindered in their capability to revise or amend the current paradigm in which the priorities and preferences of our oligarchy remain ascendant.

Other substantive efforts to create chaos and disillusionment and despair derive from their support of the alt-right, white supremacists, and other domestic terrorist organizations who advocate anarchy and assert that violence is both permissible and imperative to retain the maintenance of our contemporary political system, that reveres in a horribly inaccurate nostalgic haze an American past that grievously omits the fundamental facts of a polity that was fatally flawed by such injustices as systemic racism, genocide, and grotesque maldistributions of wealth and political efficacy among our populace

Moreover, those efforts to create an historical record of our nation’s past as well as its current status which critical race theory and the treatment of the Native American communities among us are excoriated and banned, as exercises in a scholarship that erodes patriotism and corrupts the “reality” of an infinitely more benign recitation, that has since our founding been the sole curriculum that has been taught by those pedagogues in both our public schools and private academies.

Thus, it is through these political mechanisms, inactivity and indolence, stoking the fires of cultural warfare, frustrating the long suppressed and denied aspirations of the majority of our fellow citizens in their quest to secure a redress of their grievances, as well as the neglect of urgent requirements which the restoration of our physical and human infrastructure demands, that are provoking the conflagrations of cultural dissolution.

In associated exertions they ensure the appointment of jurists that will through their decisions perpetuate the reign of the plutocrats who reside at the apogee of the Forbes 400, and erode the body of existing judicial precedents that protect the crucial constitutional capabilities in the exercise of our citizens electoral preferences, and rescind all restrictions to contribute to the candidates and causes they cherish and support that had been previously imposed on corporations, PAC’s, and 501c4 non-profit organizations.

Thus, whether through terminal demoralization, insurrectionary impulse, or the adamant and unyielding refusal to address the legitimate and intensifying discontent that increasing numbers of our fellow citizens are expressing, the fervent hope in this the final chapter in their campaign to permanently disable the quintessential reality of our republic, by disabling the majoritarian volition our polity expresses, and in so doing precipitate the expiration of our democracy.

In each instance of the preceding litany of the organizations and individuals who are engaged in this effort one undeniable fact beyond all others links them indissolubly together, the critical reality that the financial resources and political advocacy for these endeavors has one ultimate source, the Libertarian oligarchy.

in the final analysis they are the architects of this campaign to officiate at the demise of our republic and to accomplish by this coup the substitution of a system of government whatever its precise form or content that will enshrine them in a posture of unchallengeable permanence, and thus sustain their capability to unceasingly acquire unrestricted financial assets and the political corollary to impose their values and preferences throughout our nation and in every corner of the globe.

In part two of this post which is imminent I shall explicate in substantial detail and extensive specificity the national activity which we at the Fund For An Equitable America are commencing to ensure the failure of the Libertarian oligarchy to accomplish the demise of our democratic polity by mounting a massive and unrelenting campaign to dismember the institutional components of those private sector structures from which their financial capabilities to fuel and sustain their exertions are derived.

The annual return of spring with its warmth and replenishing urges is most welcome. But what is even more greatly appreciated at this crucial moment in the history of our democracy is the companionate evolution of the restoration of our nation’s sanity.

We are emerging from a what has seemed to be an interminable period of frenzied and mesmerizing imprisonment in a mortal fever of self-destructiveness and decomposition.

In the course of this grievous affliction we inflicted on our body politic repeated wounds and stabbings on those core sensibilities of our national ethos of decency, respect for our fellow citizens, and the critical requirement to conduct our public dialogue in postures of mutual consideration and compassion.

We engaged in screeds of hate and insult, in perorations of abuse and condemnation, and vented our grievances and resentments in furious attacks on those who embraced other faiths and represented other racial identities.

Beyond the environment of social media where this malevolence was ceaselessly renewed with the dawn of each day, so too in reprehensible acts of physical violence and personal depredation on the streets and neighborhoods where we reside did this scenario occur.

However, in the wee hours of January 7th, in a solemn and resolute process of the rejection of chaos, domestic terrorism, and anarchy, did our Congress respond to its official obligations and proceed with the ratification of the results of our most recent electoral contest, and by so doing declared to our populace and those throughout the globe that the world’s most ancient and revered democratic polity though gravely damaged and momentarily incapacitated, had survived and remained viable .

It is from this moment forward that we have witnessed in the succeeding weeks and months the most devoutly to be wished recession of the pathology in which we have been imprisoned.

The diminution of the toxicity and the suicidal protocols in which our republic was mired is attributable to many factors, but perhaps most critically are two indispensable variables; the deprivation of the former president’s access to and perpetual deployment of the social media instruments of Twitter and Facebook, which served throughout the tenure of his administration as the mechanisms by which he would sustain the rage and prejudices of his base .

His unrelenting use of these capacities accomplished many objectives, i.e. the delegitimization of our democratic norms and institutions, the debasement and discrediting of the truth as an imperative element in public discourse, and the platforms by which he could convey the extraordinary attributes and talents with which he was endowed.

That we are no longer subjected to these daily installments of mendacity and self-adulation has permitted the atmosphere in which we exist to cleanse and thus diminish the toxic fumes and lethal poisons and pollutants that had cast such a suffocating and noxious pall throughout the nooks and crannies of our national consciousness.

The merciful silence which we are now enjoying by virtue of his almost complete absence from our airwaves (his occasional appearance on Fox news notwithstanding), would not be as significant as it is in some intrinsic regard if it did not coexist with the more important reality of the conduct of the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

The contrast between these two personalities could not be more dramatically disparate. In this president humility resides at his epicenter. The truth is a sacred requirement in his communications with the American people, and his competency and experience in concert with the extensive skills and talents of his subordinates is apparent in all that he addresses.

With little fanfare and sparse public pronouncements he unceremoniously reduces the magnitude of the challenges that currently beset us regarding the pathogen of Covid -19 and its economic ramifications, and is reinvigorating those initiatives that constitute the critical imperative of reengaging with our allies in the continuous exertions to contain our adversaries and reinvigorate the capacities of democratic polities throughout the globe.

In addition, the efforts to mitigate the massive economic disparities which obtain in our nation, and the systemic racism with we still grapple as well as the necessity to refurbish our infrastructure and mitigate global warming are also at the epicenter of the agenda to which he is irrevocably committed.

Thus it is these two realities beyond all others that are stimulating the first hesitant appearances of a tentative return to a political atmosphere that may hopefully become more fully and vigorously rendered as our citizens enjoy the fruits and achievements of a presidential hegemony that though it reflects a traditional modus operandi, is in its content and scope more ambitious and enlightened that any paradigm that has been proposed since the new deal.

And as we harvest the magnanimous bounty which his term of office will produce, we shall continue to relegate to the wake of our collective memory the legacy of a president who because of his defects of character, psychological infirmities, and a total indifference to the protocols and practices of an ethical mode of commercial activity came within a hair’s breath of orchestrating the death of American democracy.
